Mutrade is proud to announce the successful implementation of a high-efficiency motorized puzzle parking system in the underground parking facility of a modern business center. To address the growing demand for parking spaces while working within strict structural limitations, the project utilized the BDP-1+2 configuration — a semi-automatic puzzle system combining one underground pit level with two above-ground levels.

About the BDP-1+2 Puzzle Parking System

BDP-1+2M is part of Mutrade’s renowned BDP Series of motorized puzzle parking systems. It combines vertical lifting and horizontal sliding movements of parking platforms, functioning like an intelligent puzzle. This configuration allows vehicles to be stored and retrieved independently without the need to move other cars first. The system is driven by a fast and reliable motor, ensuring smooth, quiet operation and quick cycle times. It is ideal for underground garages with limited height and complex column layouts, as it makes maximum use of both pit depth and above-ground space.

7 Key Advantages of BDP-1+2M System

  • Superior Space Efficiency — Achieves up to 3 times more parking spaces compared to traditional flat parking within the same footprint by utilizing both vertical and horizontal movements.
  • Independent Parking & Retrieval — Every vehicle can be accessed directly without moving others, saving time and eliminating frustration for users.
  • Excellent Fit for Low-Ceiling Underground Garages — The pit-style design combined with optimized platform movement makes it ideal for locations with restricted clear height.
  • High Safety Standards — Features multiple safety devices including photoelectric sensors, emergency stops, anti-fall protection, overload detection, and limit switches to ensure complete protection for vehicles and users.
  • Cost-Effective Solution — Offers a significantly lower investment compared to fully automatic robotic systems while still delivering high parking density and modern functionality.
  • Easy Integration and Low Maintenance — The design allows flexible adaptation to existing structures, and the robust electric components ensure long-term reliability with minimal maintenance requirements.

Unlike traditional lifts or ramps, the system uses a motorized-driven sliding-lift mechanism that eliminates wasted space from support posts, ramps, or driving aisles. It’s engineered specifically for retrofit projects in constrained basements — where every centimeter counts.
